Country and Sales Restrictions

Who may order from us, where we ship, and the limits that apply to the use of our products.

1. Intended use

All products are research chemicals and reference materials supplied exclusively for in-vitro research and laboratory use. They are not medicinal products and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption. We do not provide any guidance on administration, dosage or preparation.

2. Who may order

By placing an order you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you acquire the products for professional research or laboratory purposes;
  • you will handle them in accordance with the applicable safety data sheets and institutional guidelines;
  • you are responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations applicable at your location.

3. Countries we ship to

We ship from Switzerland to selected countries. The countries available for your order are shown during checkout. We may add or remove destinations at any time.

4. Countries and regions we do not ship to

We do not ship to destinations where the import, possession or supply of the ordered substances is prohibited or restricted. This may include, depending on the substance and at any given time, certain countries and regions whose law prohibits the import of research chemicals, as well as destinations subject to applicable trade sanctions.

5. Customer responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to check, before ordering, whether the import and use of the ordered substances is lawful at the delivery address, and whether any licence, permit or institutional approval is required. We are not liable for orders that are detained, confiscated or destroyed by customs or other authorities, and we do not refund such orders.

6. Right to refuse or cancel orders

We may refuse or cancel any order, in particular where we suspect that the products are intended for a prohibited use, that the customer is not entitled to order, or that the destination is restricted. In such a case any payment already received is refunded.

7. Re-sale and redistribution

Products are supplied for research use by the ordering party. Re-sale or redistribution to end users for consumption is not permitted. Where a reseller requires documented terms, please contact us at info@alpenix.ch to discuss a distribution agreement.

8. Age verification

We may carry out age verification and may ask for confirmation that the order is placed for research purposes. Orders may be cancelled if this confirmation is not given.
